To encourage music lovers and discover young talented singers, ‘YOLO Music & Arts Society’ organized an online singing contest commemorating World Music Day on June 21. Dejuve Yugho won the competition followed by Lolia Ngouri and Lingling Yan and 1st and 2nd runners up respectively.
Encouraged by the good number of participants and wonderful talents, the Organizers also decided to add two more awards. The title of Youngest Participant was won by Atusa Katiry (5 Years) and Promising Upcoming Artist title went to Avikiirhe Ngouri.
The winners will receive an amount of Rs 5000, Rs 2000 and Rs 1000 respectively with certificate. The Youngest Participant and Promising upcoming artist will also receive Rs 1000 each with certificate.
The judges were Yutsole Yanphar, Rhoshutho Nyuthe,and John Pepe.
“We are surprised by so many untapped raw talents and number of participants. Altogether 21 artist participated,” stated YOLO Music & Arts Society, President Dahil Pfithu and Secretary Thsütho Kajiri.
