Mon, August 16 (MExN): A demand driven skill development programme on tiling, plumbing and masonry for youths of Nagaland in construction sector was conducted at Aboi town hall from August 8 to 13.
A DIPR report stated that the culmination programme was graced by E Eshak Hessum, MLA 47 A/C Aboi as the special guest. He encouraged the participants to take ownership and uplift the local economy through their newly acquired skills.
The programme was chaired by SDO(C) Angjangyang, Yanithung Ngullie, while vote of thanks was delivered by CO 11th NAP (IR) Aboi, Yangba Konyak, NPS.
Power tools were also distributed to the participants by the department during the programme. Altogether, 50 participants including three girls from all over Aboi Subdivision attended the training programme. The skill development programme was organised by the Department of Empowerment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship with Zynorique Initiative Society as the training partner.
