Wokha, December 6 (MExN): Departmental coordination meeting of Bhandari sub-division, for the month of December was held at the conference hall of the Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhandari, on December 4.
While welcoming the new members to the sub division, the Chairman of the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhandari, Tiameren Chang appreciated the officers for serving the public diligently in their respective capacities all year round.
Reviewing the last meeting's agenda, and highlighting on departmental work programmes and functioning by electrical, medical, education and PHE departments for better delivery of service to the public, the Power department said that consumers should not use high voltage coil heaters at home because they increase the load of power consumption which is not helpful for the general public.
The house also deliberated on the requirement of at least one mortuary at Bhandari which should be attached to either the police station or at CHC hospital, Bhandari and resolved to construct the same at CHC hospital, Bhandari.
Principal, GHSS, Bhandari informed that free coaching will be given to class ten repeaters students at the school, starting from the January 7, 2020 till matric exam gets over. It invited all interested repeaters to come and avail the opportunity. He added that while expert teachers will be taking classes of all subjects, special focus and effort will be given for science and math subjects.
The house resolved to hold departmental social work on December 6 and again a mass social work on December 7 as part of preparation for the Christmas celebrations.
