Dimapur, February 5 (MExN): The public and traders in Dimapur have been reminded to following COVID appropriate behaviours for the safety of one and all. 

A DIPR report stated that the Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS has cautioned that a fine of Rs 200 will be imposed to the defaulters and those going against the order of the Government will be booked for stringent action.

It may be mentioned that for creating awareness and for constantly reminding the public for following the SOPs, announcement are being  made daily till date,  since May last year and several defaulters were  booked and  penalised with joint effort of DTF Dimapur and Police.

Several defaulters have been remanded to the East and West Police stations including the women cell and appropriate actions were initiated as per law.

DC informed that announcement for constant reminder and awareness and masks duty for penalising the defaulters would continue and appealed to the public and the traders to be responsible citizens by adhering to the guidelines issued by the government with regard to Covid-19, for the safety and interest of one and all.
