Dimapur DPDB deliberates on development issues

Dimapur, September 11 (MExN): The monthly District Planning and Development Board (DBDP) meeting of Dimapur district for the month of September was held on September 11 in the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner Office Dimapur.  

According to a DIPR report, the Board members deliberated for the need to repair the collapsed wall of Dimapur Government College, and decided to forward the matter to the Higher Education Department for necessary action from their end. The Board members also discussed to install a dialysis unit at District Hospital Dimapur, and resolved to write to the Medical Superintendent for further necessary action.  

With regard to upgradation of Royal Academy at H. Khehoyi Village Niuland Dimapur, the Board members recommended to the concerned Department for consideration, basing on the verification report submitted by ADC Niuland.  

On the agenda for registration of societies, the Board after discussion decided for recommending the following Societies to the Home Department: Mercy Society, Nagaland Poultry Forum, Bethel Home society, Trio Task society, Khermahal Area Business Welfare Association, Being Humane, Hmar Christian Fellowship, Seva Bharati Nagaland and Atou Welfare society.  

As entrusted, Deputy Commissioner of Taxes Dimapur, gave an elaborate presentation on how VAT was replaced by GST and various rules regulating GST.  

He informed the DDOs to contact training center located at Commissioner of Taxes Office Dimapur for any queries. Executive Engineer Power and Urban Development officer were entrusted to present their departmental activities during the next DPDB meeting.
