DIMAPUR, MARCH 25 (MExN): The GBs Union Dimapur (Sadar) today suspended the Wednesday weekly bazaar at Supermarket, Dimapur till further orders.
A press release from the GBs union president, MY Ngullie and Vice President, W Kholie Kapfo stated further directed GBs and Chairmen to initiate house-to-house delivery of vegetables/essential commodities for the general public in their respective colony areas.
The GBs have also been asked to monitor all restrictions strictly.
It meanwhile called for GBs along with the colony councils to manage a monitoring system of mandatory home quarantine.
This includes checking and restricting movement of public loitering around endangering their own life and the lives of people, especially those people coming from outside within their respective colony jurisdiction.
Other actions include suspension all public gatherings; immediate arrangement of suitable designated places as quarantine zone; and to be in touch with the local health workers in case of any exigencies; Dimapur District Control Room- 7630877991/7630877983.
All GBs within Sadar area are requested to follow the guidelines and cooperate with the District Administration/Law Enforcing Agencies to contain the spread of COVID-19.
