Dimapur Police appeals people to restrain from unnecessary movement

DIMAPUR, MARCH 31 (MExN): Dimapur police has reiterated its appeal to the people in the district to restrain themselves from unnecessary movement in the market areas.

 

A press release from the PRO, Dimapur Police urged that people should only venture out to buy essential commodities only when necessary.

 

“During such unprecedented circumstances the public is encouraged to instead cultivate new social habits such as reviewing the routine habit of daily shopping through maintenance of a basic and simple meal regime,” it added.

 

The Dimapur Police made clear that the temporary restrictions currently imposed in Nagaland by the State Government is for ensuring the individual safety of all concerned and thus it is also the bounden responsibility of all to extend cooperation in this critical time.

 

While welcoming constructive criticism and also admitting to certain shortcomings, theDimapur Police assured the people that the district force is currently performing its duty with all due diligence in the frontline of this pandemic outbreak.
