Dhansiripar, August 20 (MExN): The Dimasa GBs and Village Council Chairmen of the villages from Dhansiripar sub-division that have been merged with the Chümoukedima district have formed an organisation under the nomenclature of Dimasa (Kachari) Naiso Hosom, Dhansiripar Sub-Division. According to a press release, the organisation was formed during a meeting that was held at the residence of Phiju Langthasa, Head GB, Doyapur, to liaise and promote the Dimasa (Kachari) villages for all round development with the concerned authority/authorities. “Any matter concerning Dimasa (Kachari) villages under Dhansiripar Sub-Division of Chümoukedima district either from the District authority, agencies and or other tribal Hohos shall be dealt with through this organisation,” the release stated. Also the following office bearers were selected as an adhoc body for a period of one year or till regular office bearers are inducted: K Naben President, Nibison Hasnu General Secretary, Rangmai Jigdung Vice President, Akhu Langthasa Joint Secretary, Jimmy Jigdung Treasurer, and Rangdon Girisa Publicity Secretary.
