Director General AR visits Nagaland

Kohima, January 13 (MExN): Lt Gen Sukhdeep Sangwan, SM Director General of Assam Rifles, visited IGAR (North), Jalukie and HQ 6 Sect AR on January 13. He was briefed on security situation and operational preparedness of the formation, stated a press release issued by Lt Col L Vincent Patton, PRO, HQ IGAR (N).

Lt Gen Sukhdeep Sangwan interacted with officers and troops of the formation and exhorted them to keep abreast with the current security situation in the NE region. 

Appreciating the role played by the troops of Assam Rifles in Nagaland, the General Officer encouraged them to continue with the effort in creating a conducive and peaceful environment in the region so that the trust and faith of the populace in the Security Forces is further cemented.
