Kohima, October 13 (MExN): The Kohima Forest Division, Working Plan Division and DMU Kohima, Nagaland Forest Management Project(NFMP) observed a condolence programme in honour of the deceased CM Chang on October 13.
On the occasion, DFO Kohima, Rajkumar M recollected the fond memories of working with him and said that Chang was a humble and fatherly figure to everyone in the department.
The late Minister was actively involved in the activities in the Department as well as successful outcome of the Nagaland Forest Management Project, he said.
His demise is a big loss not only for the Forest Department but to the entire Nagaland state, he added.
Kohima Range Officer, Pezaneinuo Chielie and Working Plan Officer, Khellan Samom also spoke during the programme and acknowledged the Minister’s vast contribution to the Department and the society as well. A moment of silence was observed in honour of the departed soul and the programme concluded with a prayer by Ngampie, LDA, Kohima Forest Division, a press release informed.
