DNSU concerned over mid-session teacher transfers, seeks justification

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 12 (MExN): The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has expressed deep concern over the recent transfer of teachers in the middle of the academic session.

In a press statement, the DNSU stated that such sudden and unjustified move has disrupted the learning process, causing undue distress to students and hampering their academic performance.

In this connection, it asked the concerned authorities to provide a valid reason for these transfers and to consider the long-term consequences of such actions on the students. “We request a review of the transfer policy to ensure that it prioritizes students' needs and well-being,” it added.

At the same time, the DNSU also proposed a collaborative approach to address this issue, involving stakeholders from the education sector, to find solutions that benefit the students. “We believe that a stable and supportive learning environment is essential for our students’ success,” it stated.

While requesting a prompt response and resolution to this matter, the DNSU highlighted that it is willing to work together with the authorities to find a solution.
