Dimapur, May 8 (MExN): The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has vehemently condemned the April 28 rape incident at Netaji Colony, Dimapur. In a press release the DNSU Media Cell condemned the two accused and affirmed that “it will not tolerate this sort of act that tarnishes the very modesty and endangers the safety of women in our society.” The Union has urged the law enforcing agencies to thoroughly investigate the case with utmost seriousness and make sure that the culprits are punished as per the law. The Union further, appealed to the Court not to grant bail to the accused.
