MOKOKCHUNG, MARCH 16 (MExN): The Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) today informed that commercial vehicles ferrying essential commodities to Mokokchung are doing business as usual.
A press release from the MCCI dispelled rumours of any shortage and stated that there is enough stock of essential commodities in the market, including fuel and medicines.
It urged people not to panic buy and cautioned traders not to sell any items at prices higher than the marked price, masks and hand sanitizers in particular. The MCCI cautioned that those doing so would be penalized.
Further, in compliance with the government’s directive, the MCCI has deferred all pre-planned engagements until further notice.
