KOHIMA, MARCH 12 (MExN): The Directorate of School Education (DoSE) has informed all schools in Nagaland to create awareness among students regarding ways to prevent/reduce transmission of COVID-19.
In an advisory to the Heads of Institutions, Principal Director, DoSE, Shanavas C said: “As creating awareness among the general public is extremely important to prevent/reduce transmission of the Novel Coronavirus, all school heads are hereby directed to create awareness amongst the students regarding preventive interventions which would help in preventing/reducing transmission of not only this disease but also large number of other communicable diseases, notably flu like illnesses.”
Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials about the Coronavirus have been made available in the department website (www.education.nagaland.gov.in) and also at the Facebook pages of the Directorate of School Education and the Nagaland Board of School Education.
