Dimapur, July 30 (MExN): The Waromung Senso Telongjem of Diphupar today issued a stern warning against a non-local driver by the name of Raj Shekhar Mahato alias Hanji Yimchunger for ransacking, robbing and threatening his former employer, one Mrs. Narola on the night of July 12. The Waromung Senso Telongjem of Diphupar issued a warning in a note today making clear that the union shall not be found quiet if anything untoward happens to the said citizen and her family.
According to the union, the driver, from Bihar trespassed in his former employer’s home on the night of July 12, ransacked and looted valuables and threatened to kill the citizen/family. The said Raj Shekhar Mahato alias Hanji Yimchunger is said to be a former driver of Mrs. Narola.
The union also took strong exception that the criminal went so far as to use the name of a Naga tribe and smearing the names of the Naga people by involving in anti-social activities. The union has strongly issued a warning that in the event anything happens to Mrs. Narola and her family, the community shall not be found silent spectator.
The Telongjem also appealed to all in concern and the authorities not to entertain bail applications of the accused person as elements like him are a threat to the society.
