Drug users felicitate Naga Wrestling champ

•-The Indian Drug Users Forum (IDUF) and Nagaland Users Network (NUN), the apex body of people who use drugs (PUDs) of India and Nagaland, congratulate Mr. Surhoneyi  Soho   for winning  the 7th  open Naga Wrestling championship  held in Kohima on the 23rd March 2011. Mr. Surhoneyi  Soho   said “I was a hard core drug user for more than five long years and had to undergo drug treatment and rehabilitation, and I surrendered my life and my will under the care of almighty God”. He also stated, after I gave up drugs, I have won two times Nagaland open wrestling champion in 2009 and 2011, two times Naga wrestling, 1st runner up in 2007 and 2010, and Naga-Korean wrestling in 2009 in hornbill festival Kohima.  He attributes all his success to almighty God, family members and friends. A former drug user, securing the most prestigious and coveted trophy of Nagaland, have set a good example and sent out a strong message to the drug users that   “there is life beyond addiction”.
