DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 17 (MExN): A meeting of the District Skill Committee (DSC) was held on November 17 in the conference hall of the Deputy commissioner Dimapur. The meeting was chaired by DC Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi IAS, informed a report from the DIPR.
The meeting discussed various issues relating to Dimapur District, and the members present decided to deliberate on certain points for the next coming meeting which is to be scheduled by the member secretary as directed by Chairman.
The committee decided to include the entire training centers which are imparting trainings but are not under Government arm fold. The committee also decided to co-ordinate with ICAR for the various trainings being imparted by their departments. The committee also took decision to include ATMA (TEAM) for fruitful implementation of DSC for Dimapur District.
The committee also decided to include industrial partners like CII and also to include various Head of Department/Office who are directly or indirectly involve in training activities.
After visiting the Training site of various activities of their Institute, the committee decided to include the Principal Tool room Training center as a member and decided to have the District Skill committee Center (DSC) at his office for the time being, since the government ITI is located at a very remote place.
