Dimapur, March 20 (MExN): In view of the recent outbreak of COVID-19, the Dimapur Sümi students' Union (DSSU) as a preventive measure undertook the initiative of setting up of hand wash basin for public use at Dimapur Railway Station, Marwaripatti near Durga Mandir, Nagaland Gate, City Tower near KK Restaurant and Dhobinala opposite SBI.
The team was led by Kahito Chishi, president and Vitopu Ayemi, General Secretary along with executives and unit representatives. DSSU in a press release said, “if we take certain preventive measures and follow the instructions provided by the Health Department we can fight Covid-19.”
“We took this step with a purpose to create awareness among the people with the theme -prevention is better than cure. We believe that one small deed can make a great difference in our society,” DSSU added.
The team also urged the public not to panic but to create awareness.
