Dimapur, February 21 (MExN): The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) today reminded the city’s residents, shopkeepers, business establishments, and institutions that “dumping of waste/garbage at drainage and burning of garbage/waste is totally ban/prohibited” in DMC jurisdiction. In this connection, the DMC Administrator, in a notification, informed all concerned not to dump garbage at drainage or burn them. “Any one violating this order shall be penalized with fine and other legal action or provision of law,” it added.
