Eco Club Tethuyo plants 800 Mango trees

As part of afforestation drive and to boost greenery in the locality, Eco Club Tethuyo planted 800 Mango trees around Tethuyo village on August 10. 

Delivering a short speech before the drive, NDPP Kiphire district, General Secretary, Atsoba Anar lauded the Eco Club Tethuyo for undertaking the initiative which will have a positive impact on the environment. He said the involvement of youth in the plantation drive will create awareness and senitise society about the importance of trees and their role in environment conservation. 

More than 40 youths participate in the plantation drive. Tethuyo Village Baptist Church, Pastor, Koktsaliba said the invocation while VDB Secretary Atsang delivered the vote of thanks.
