‘Edu is the first victim when there is no peace’

Dimapur, November 1 (MExN): “Confluence: A Career to Smart Career Choices”- a career seminar cum education fair, was launched by Nini Sekhose, President of ANPSA (Central) at Covenant Hall, Christian Higher Secondary (CHSS), Dimapur on November 1.
CHSS, vice principal, Patricia Zhimomi in a press release stated that the event is an initiative of CHSS Career Club, organized with the objective of bridging the gap in the education curriculum and the fast changing world, and to equip the students to the trending careers globally.
Nini Sekhose encouraged the students to give to the community through the career they choose and also to contribute to a peaceful society for “education is the first victim when there is no peace.”
The welcome note was said by S Moatemsu Walling, Principal CHSS. The resource persons for the two day event are Rohini Nageshaa Rao (Consultant, Harper Collins); Zubeno Mozhui (Director, Hope Centre of Excellence); Dr. Sagar Gulati (Director TERii, Kurukshetra; and Prof. Ujjwal K. Chowdhury (Pro Vice Chancellor, ADAMAS University).
Ten universities and institutions including Terü, Assam Downtown University, Rai University, ADAMAS University, JBIT, HMSIT, Alpine Concern, Tetso College, SRM Sikkim and KL University and 23 schools and colleges of Dimapur are participating in the Confluence which will conclude on November 2.
