Chümoukedima, February 6 (MExN): The office of the Executive Engineer, Electrical Division Chümoukedima has informed all the consumers that the Department shall continue to disconnect power supply of payment defaulters without any further notice. In a press release, the Executive Engineer stated that the disconnection drive shall affect defaulters of all categories of consumers in towns and villages falling under Chümoukedima Electrical Division. In this regard, the office has requested all the consumers in towns and villages under Chümoukedima, Dhansiripar, Niuland, Kuhuboto, Medziphema and Ralan administrative blocks to take note of it and pay their Electricity bills. Further, if there are cases of non-receipt of bills or discrepancy in the bills, the consumers are advised to report to the office of the concerned SDO (Electrical) to resolve the issues.
