Dimapur, November 25 (MExN): The second season of ‘Top Acts’ was held on November 24 at Muskan Youth Centre. The event was held with the theme 'Elimination of Violence Against Girls and Women’ to support the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women observed annually every November 25.
Advocate Neiteo Koza, Project Coordinator, Nagaland State Legal Services Authority made a special appearance. She highlighted on why International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women is celebrated and its history. She also emphasized on different types of violence and laws and acts related to it. She mesmerized the audience by presenting a special number.
The evening began with a performance by upcoming artist Deize Sothu.
David, Director, India Trail and Vizosietuo Neo, Managing Director, Creative Academy of Music were also present as special guests.
The event witnessed varied performances from the participants. One of the participants was just 9 years old, the youngest participant in Top Acts.
First ever female beatboxer at the Top Acts Akhrienuo Solo (Grace) wooed the judges and the audience with her skillful and fun beatboxing was declared the “Best Performer” of November Edition.
Vizosietuo Neo, Managing Director, Creative Academy of Music gave away the certificates to all the participants and best performance certificate along withcash prize of Rs. 1000/- He also encouraged the participants to use their talents in the right way and keep on practicing.
Top Acts is organized by Family Planning Association of India in collaboration with Life Pro Sound Solution, 4Life and is being sponsored by India Trail.
