DIMAPUR, JANUARY 22 (MExN): Following the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization’s (ENPO) resolution to abstain from participating in the forthcoming Indian Republic Day Celebration on January 26, the Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has directed all the six federating units (CCSU/KSU/KSU (Konyak)/PSC/USSC/YAA) to comply with this directive. The ENSF issued a directive stating that all public and students of Eastern Nagaland are to abstain from taking part in the forthcoming Indian Republic Day celebrations. It also resolved against non-participation in army civic programmes, and non-attendance to any of their official invitation. This directive shall be strictly implemented in the entire Eastern jurisdiction, the ENSF said. It meanwhile appealed to all the concerned to cooperate with the directives and to honour the resolution until further communique from the federation. “Any unwanted consequence upon its dereliction shall be the sole responsibility of the violators,” the ENSF cautioned.
