ENSUD responds to NAMSA

The Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union Dimapur (ENSUD) expresses its resentment for the Press statement publish by the Nagaland Adventure Motors’ & Sports’ Association (NAMSA) that the chapter about the discrimination and injustice done to its member Ms. H Lemei Phom was closed. The ENSUD states that the chapter will not be closed or over, until and unless justice prevail and its member is provided with her rightful position. The Provisional result clearly shows that she is the winner at second place in female category and as for her co-passenger Mr. Bendangwapang Jamir, She had clarified it with the officials of the NAMSA, if she could be accompanied by a male co-passenger. To which the NAMSA officials had agreed and even Mr. Bendangwapang Jamir was issued a Identity Card after submitting necessary documents and also paying the required fees. If Ms. H Lemei Phom was not eligible for the All Ladies Category then Why was she allowed to compete in the race with a male co-passenger? Why did the NAMSA officials took the registration of Mr. Bendangwapang Jamir? Was it just to collect his registration fees? Was the NAMSA officials so blind that they wouldn’t differentiate between a male and a female? Why was Mr. Bendangwapang Jamir issued an Identity Card if he was not eligible? Why dint the NAMSA officials reject Mr. Bendangwapang Jamir during the Scrutineering itself instead of rejecting him after the declaration of the result? If she did not not deserved the prize then Why her position was at 23rd place, far ahead of Ms. Khrieno Sakhrie and Mrs. Kishan Shohe whose positioned was at 25th & 29th as per Provisional Result and who was adjusted the 2nd & 3rd place respectively though they dint deserved it ?. Though Ms. H Lemei Phom had completed the race in 23rd position in the overall position, she was well ahead of Ms. Khrieno Sakhrie and Mrs. Kishan Shohe with better timing and less Penalties then Why was she not given the prize that she deserved?
In the Auto cross, the NAMSA officials had confused Ms. H Lemei Phom by ordering her to “go and stop” at the same time and to prove it, the ENSUD have the video also which clearly shows the misunderstanding and communication gap between the stewards of the HIMR. The ENSUD states that untill and unless Ms. H Lemei Phom is provided with justice, the ENSUD will stand strong against the NAMSA discrimination, The ENSUD warns the NAMSA that it will take its own course of action in due course of time and if necessary will appeal in the competent court of law or higher authorities.”
