ETC&S celebrates advent Christmas

Dimapur, December 10 (MExN): The campus community of Ecclesia Theological College & Seminary (formerly called Withee Bible College) celebrated Advent Christmas at the College campus, Darogajan, Dimapur on December 8. 

The message was delivered by Ikato Chishi Swu, General Secretary, Council of Nagalim Churches. He urged the community to live with a purpose just as Christ came with a purpose to save the lost humanity. He implored the students, “to take the responsibility in reaching out to the world about the saving work of Jesus Christ.”

Moderated by Nyanbeni Lotha and Khukuache Rengma, the evening began with invocation prayer by Heni Phom, Lecturer. The programme opened with Christmas Art Exhibition- a creative narration of the Christmas story through painting- performed by the College students, followed by introduction and presentation by Rev Dr Vikheshe Chishi, Founder and Principal, ETC&S. 

The evening was marked with numerous presentation such as bonfire lighting, melodious Christmas Cantata, entertaining shadow act which displayed the Cross as the gift of Christmas and dance to the delight of the congregation. Khalemi Worship Committee Convenor gave the vote of thanks and the benediction was pronounced by Myinthunglo lecturer to end the programme.
