Mokokchung, February 5 (MExN): A day-long workshop on professional ethics for the non-teaching staff of Fazl Ali College (FAC) was conducted on February 5 at the College conference hall.

A brief introduction on the theme of the workshop was delivered by Dr Imtiwati Jamir, IQAC member. Chubawati, Ao Senden President and FAC IQAC member exhorted the participants while the College Vision 2040 was presented by P Tiatemsu, IQAC member.

Temsumoa Imsong, Tatar and former Chairman of Chuchuyimpang Village Council deliberated on the challenges pertaining to the workshop theme.

The second session on the theme ‘Professional Integrity’ was delivered by S Arenla Longkumer, Retired Principal, FAC. A session on the topic ‘Service to Man is Service to God’ was delivered by Dr Bendang Longkumer, Pastor, Artang Baptist Church.

Helen Jamir, Principal, FAC gave the concluding remarks and L Tongzuk, HA, FAC pronounced the benediction prayer. The programme was chaired by Dr Lanurenla, IQAC Coordinator.

FAC ‘Digitization Project’ launched
Earlier, the FAC ‘Digitization Project’ (Computerization of Office) was also launched in the introductory session of the workshop. Stating that offices and institutions have a multifold increase in productivity after digitization or computerization, the College informed that in the light of this, the FAC has started the digitization of the institution.

It informed that the project would be a triad system involving use of Learning Management System (LMS) in the form of G Suite for Education, which is already in successful use; elevation of the already existing Student Management System (SMS) to a cloud based solution, and Office Management, with the goal of being paperless, by the implementation of a totally transparent online accounting using Tally Prime Gold.

The College also informed that the students union election during the current lockdown was successfully conducted using existing cloud based support.
