Farmers urged to carry out various farm activities in Nagaland

Nagaland’s home principal secretary Abhijit Sinha on Saturday urged all the farmers to carry out various farm activities.
Agriculture-farming and allied activities have been exempted from the purview of nationwide Lockdown.

Sinha requested all concerned to take necessary steps so that the farm activities get carried out without any impediments.
The central government has granted relaxation in the nationwide lockdown for activities related to agriculture-farming and allied activities with a view to address problems being faced by the farming community.
This will also ensure uninterrupted harvesting of crops, source stated.
