Dimapur, Oct 27 (MExN): Reacting to an article by NNC Secretary In-charge L Kaiso, the FGN has questioned the opinion that imposters are confusing the Nagas and asked “who do he refer to and in what sense”.
“First of all, he ought to know that he is a so-called leader who has no grass root support even in his own region. He can otherwise tell whom he is representing. Can such a man be a national leader?” an FGN rejoinder from FGN Deputy Secretary L Pishen stated while asserting that “he and his likes who settle down in Shillong Accord Transit peace Camp at Kohima had been confusing Nagas for the past 31 years with the manipulations and that they are real imposters among Nagas”. The rejoinder asserted that the NNC is the ‘national institution’ and the FGN the ‘legitimate government’ being guided by the Yeahzabo of Nagaland. “There has to be transparency in the proceedings of the Tatar Hoho and not like the manipulated meetings to claim the national leadership which they pride upon” Pishen asserted.
He also maintained that there is a free and legitimate government headed by the Kedahge Brig (retd) S Singnya “in which each and every free Naga has a role to play and a task to accomplish, sadly people like Transit Peace campers who enjoy and survive on the hospitality and protection of India cannot hold Naga national responsibility”. Naga ‘national policy’ and matters of ‘national interests’ shall be taken up by ‘true and free national workers naturally’ and not controlled by imposters like Transit Peace campers at Kohima’. “This undisputable fact has to be understood by each and every Naga and further that L Kaiso and his coterie must no longer confuse by posing themselves as NNC/FGN workers” it added.
