DIMAPUR, JULY 17 (MExN): The Ministry of Chaplee, NSCN/GPRN (Khaplang) through its finance secretary A. Kits Achumi has warned business establishments in Kohima town that some unauthorized persons are serving demand notes and business tax in its name. The finance secretary, in a release informed that one Apelhu Krose, claiming to be chairman, Angami Region and his deputy Avono are moving around Kohima town serving demand notes and collecting business tax from them in the name of NSCN/GPRN (Khaplang).
The finance secretary, while informing businessmen that the duo does not belong to the organization and therefore have no authority to collect any form of taxes, has further asked the aggrieved businessmen to immediately inform the finance secretary A. Kits Achumi at 9436435669 /9089179931 if demands are made from the duo for necessary clarification and action. The release has further asked Apelhu Krose and Avono to stop this act and has warned of dire consequences for which they shall be solely responsible.
