First phase of the Biannual National Deworming Day

First phase of the Biannual National Deworming Day was observed in Wokha district on February 10. Dr. Kuokholie Savino, MO, RBSK sensitized the students of Isaiah Ability School, Wokha on the importance of deworming. Dr. Kuokholie encouraged the students to practice personal hygiene and take Albendazole tablets for prevention of intestinal worms. The mop up phase will be held on February 17. Albendazole tablets were distributed to children in schools and angawadi centres across the district.
