Dimapur, March 18 (MExN): The Director of Food and Civil Supplies, Nagaland has informed the general public and NFSA beneficiaries in particular, availing food grains from the Department of Food & Civil Supplies through the Department’s Fair Price Shops (FPSs), to follow the given instructions:
• In view of the need to take urgent measures for preventing and controlling the spread of COVID-19, the Aadhaar enabled PDS transaction through the electronic Point of Sale (ePoS) device will be authenticated by the FPS Dealer(s) on behalf of the NFSA beneficiaries with immediate effect in all the Department’s FPSs till April 30.
• All NFSA beneficiaries (Ration card holder) are notified that food grains will be issue after identifying the genuine beneficiaries (i.e. as being done earlier), while the FPS Dealer(s) authenticate through the ePoS on behalf of the beneficiaries.
