Tarie with Supongmeren after joining Congress on May 23.
Kohima, May 24 (MExN): Former MLA from 6 Tening Assembly Constituency, Tarie Zeliang has resigned from the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) and joined the Congress party in the presence of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) president S Supongmeren Jamir on May 23.
Meanwhile, the NPCC warmly welcomed the latter into the party fold and acknowledged his timely decision to strengthen the Congress party’s movement to save the soul of India. This was stated in a release issued by NPCC Communications Department.
