Kohima, March 12 (MExN): A free breast cancer screening camp will be conducted within Phek district for early detection of breast cancer with CMET Wearable Device & Themalytix Technology from March 14 to 31 at different locations and sub divisions under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.
The camp is organized by the Phek district administration in partnership with Big Edge Solutions and Technologies Pvt Ltd UmAnG Health Centre, Hyderabad.
Phek deputy commissioner Sachin Jaiswal advised women in Phek district to avail the opportunity.
Pregnant and lactating women are not advised to take up the screening test.
The women to undertake screening should not have eaten food, drinks etc in last one hour before the test.
Schedule date for the camp. March 14-17- Phek Town, March 18- Lozaphuhu/Khuza, March 19-20- Meluri town, March 21- Weziho/Akhegow, March 23- Chizami town, March 24-25- Pfutsero town, March 26- Kikruma/Zuketsa, March 27- 29- Chozuba town, March 30- Chetheba/Sekruzu and March 31- Phek Town.
