Wokha, September 11 (MExN): Dongphi Milon (Flame of Change) group, on a mission to provide health care to the rural populace organized free medical camp at Lakhuti village under Wokha district on September 8.
Altogether 652 cases were registered during the camp, a release from Abenthung Kikon informed. The group also distributed medicine worth 1.5 lakhs and few were referred for further treatment.
The Village council chairman Mhonthung Yanthan while lauding the group for organizing free medical camp encouraged the group to keep up the good work. Meanwhile, the Dongphi Milon chairman Dr Thungbemo Humtsoe also expressed gratitude to the village Chairman, the district Chief Medical Officer and all the doctors, health workers who rendered their valuable services.
