Funds dissipated to leave roads dilapidated: NPCC

•-Since the taking over of charge by the DAN Govt. there has been a complete revamping of the whole State as you can notice each and every pace you walk. The commuters (Vehicle owners or passengers) are so obedient that they don’t notice even a single pothole in the State capital which we call “Kohima”.
It is quiet an embarrassing achievement of the DAN Govt. that instead of spending the funds for repairing roads they never thought of development of drainage system which is the need of the hour as all the roads are damaged by the rain and pooling of water on the road. Also, instead of road widening while black topping the roads ( Kohima to Chozuba road) the road seems to be getting narrower each and every year repair work comes up.
The word “Mammoth job” signifies your inability in addressing to the needs of your people. What outcome will be their when most of the Minister are out of the State on leisure trips on the pretext of business meeting at Delhi. When you ply the capital roads from the most luxurious vehicles the Govt. funds for the people can buy you must be enjoying a feeling of “Herculean feat”. Do we ever notice any Minister of the State or make believe Parlimentary Secys. walking by foot to observe the Develpoment they boast of achieving.
There are enough hardworking/ good quality engineers at service of the Govt. why not let them play their roles instead of rotting in the corners of some department.
Your beautification and modernisation are truly laudable for condemnation by your people.
