Kohima, November 16 (MExN): G. Rio Memorial Volleyball Trophy (12th Kohima Open Tournament for men and women) under the aegis of Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) will commence from November 17 at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground).
Zhaleo Rio, MLA and Advisor for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Government of Nagaland, will grace the inaugural function as the special guest at 12:00 noon.
KDVA president Visasielie Suhu will deliver presidential address.
Technical Committee convenor Vizobeilie Punyii will administer oath to the participating teams.
Meanwhile, organizing committee convenor Mhalelhou Mere requested all the participating teams to report to the venue latest by 11:00 AM.
Entry ticket for spectator has been fixed at Rs. 50.
The tournament, which will continue till November 20, will witness participants from Nagaland, Assam and Manipur.
