Give GOD a Chance @ Reconciliation.Nagas

It is immeasurably uplifting and I’m not keeping my fingers crossed waiting for the outcome of the reconciliation meet because I am very positive of the momentum that is taking its foothold among us today.

Enough had been said about the factional groups. Enough anger and displeasure has been vented on them. It’s time we take the turn to ourselves. The truth behind the catalyst of divisions should be shouldered by every Nagas irrespective of their professions. Actively and passively, to a degree we are all too responsible for all these terrible mess that we are witnessing today because of our greed, selfishness and the thirst for supremacy. It is totally a blunder and hypocritical of us waiting only on their part to repent.  It’s time we prepare to remove the LOG IN OUR OWN EYES too.

This is the time for us to address the SIN in us. Address the sin that has caused all these social and political unrest. We need to realize that there can be no thriving and victory as long as we fight to triumph over one another amidst of these deplorable conditions.

Let the prime focus of this Reconciliation Meet 2012 be solemnly on “The Attitude of Christ” and not on the principle of forgive and forget; neither because of the common goal in pursuit nor rest on the address that we are all blood brothers and sisters. And based on the Attitude of Christ, let us:

•    Refuse to sow seeds of discords, selfishness and greed.
•    Resolve to wash off the hatreds, guilt in coming to the Cross of Christ.
•    Resolve to let all the wickedness and sins die within us and with us.
•    Resolve not to pass the hatreds to the next generation,
•    Resolve to sow seeds of love, joy, peace and forgiveness.
•    Resolve to let truth, unity and justice prevail in our society
•    Resolve to live a life giving hope to the next generation.

Let us invade one another with this Love of God demonstrated in Christ. Let us be addicted in demonstrating it in our lives. With this, reconciliation will be authentic, sustainable and credible. Yes, “Give God a Chance.”
