Kohima, January 28 (MExN): In an effort to strengthen tourism in Nagaland, the state government is contemplating to develop pilgrimage tourism based on historical sites and events. The concept of pilgrimage tourism was shared today by the Parliamentary Secretary, Tourism and Law & Justice, Yitachu at Phüsachodü today. At the initial stage, the government is seeking to develop Chesezu, the last camp of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose for ‘social pilgrimage.’ It was informed that request has also been made for a religious pilgrimage spot at Molungyimsen, where Dr. E. W. Clark the first missionary to the Naga people set foot there.
