DIMAPUR, JULY 12 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN Ao Region held a meeting at the Oking on 12th July 2011 and passed a resolution declaring fully endorsing the leadership of NSCN Chairman Gen Khole Konyak and Gen. Secy. N Kitovi Zhimomi. The meeting unanimously agreed that Ao Region shall steadfastly uphold the Covenant of Reconciliation which the GPRN/NSCN leadership is committed to. It called upon all right thinking Nagas not to be confused by the recent expulsion of former Chairman S.S Khaplang as it was a decision of the National Assembly in the interest of the Naga Nation. This was stated in a press note issued by Imti Jamir, Caretaker Chairman, Ao Region and Wapang Jamir, Leacy, Ao Region.
