DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 3 (MExN): Expressing great hope and satisfaction on the efforts of the Working Committee (WC), Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) negotiating for an early Indo Naga political solution, the GPRN/NSCN has resolved to put forth an ‘Endorsement Document.’
This was decided after the Regional Authorities meeting convened with top Naga Army officials on September 17, followed by the Joint Council Meeting on September 30, the GPRN/NSCN in a press communiqué through its MIP stated on Thursday.
The ‘Endorsement Document,’ as per the MIP press communiqué states- “Along with the expressed will and desire of the Nagas, we , the Naga National Workers, having been briefed clearly on the contours and status of the ongoing political negotiation between GOI and WC, NNPG, fully support, endorse and await the early announcement of Indo- Naga political solution.
We agree that what has been achieved and agreed in principle, thus far between the GOI and Working Committee ( WC) , NNPGs at a present time, is honorable and acceptable . We strongly believe that all unresolved issue (s) must be tackled by both entities with courage and commitment through continuous democratic and political process.”
