Dimapur, March 16 (MExN): The Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST), Dimapur Commissionerate, conducted a special drive from March 1 to 15 to address taxpayer’s grievances and resolve queries on any issue related to GST.
Central GST Offices at Dimapur, Kohima and Mokokchung were available for any query from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm without prior appointment on all working days during this period, a press release from Joint Commissioner Sashi Wapang Lanu stated.
The release stated that two meetings were also conducted on March 5 and 12 where taxpayers and tax practitioners resolved several queries. Issues related to policy matters were taken note of and sent to the higher authorities for redressal, it said. The queries received by the office during the special drive period were generally on the areas of GST Registration, Filing of Returns, Input Tax Credit issues and Refunds, the press release informed.
Further, the release informed that the public and taxpayers can visit the GST Seva Kendra (Help Desk) located on 5th floor Agarwal Tower, Circular Road, Dimapur, for any query or clarification related to GST.
