Kiphire, November 6 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner and vice-chairman of Kiphire District Planning and Development Board (DPDB), Sarita Yadav, IAS during the monthly meeting informed that “a gynecology doctor will be visiting the District Hospital once in a week and requested the DPDB members to spread the message so that every woman can avail treatment.”
Chairing the meeting held on November 6 at DC conference hall, Kiphire, a DIPR report stated that the vice-chairman that the house approved ‘no interview day’ on Wednesday and every working Saturday in DC Office, so that the district administration can do their paper works smoothly. DC stated that due to public interview throughout the week the administrative office is unable to finish their works at the right time.
Medical department advocated “Tobacco Free” in all the departments. Dr N Moa Jamir in his presentation urged all the members to cooperate and coordinate with the medical team for the success of this programme.
Other agenda discussed included Creation of SDPDB Pungro; creation of SDO (Electrical) post at Seyochung town, Constitution of verification committees for LADP 2019-20 and construction of staff quarter and fencing at GHS Phelungre village.
Medical Department and Agriculture department presented their departmental activities.
