HPHMBWC, DCCI mourn demise of Hukato V Achumi

Dimapur, February 3 (MExN): The Hazi Park & Hongkong Market Business Welfare Committee (HPHMBWC) has decided to down shutter on February 4 as mark of respect to their President Hukato V Achumi who passed away on February 2. The committee informed that this was decided during a meeting held on February 3 in regard to the untimely demise of Hukato on February 2 at Delhi. The committee also stated that the funeral service will be held at his residence at Kushiabli village, Dimapur around 1:00 pm-2:00 pm. 

Meanwhile, the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) has expressed shock over the sudden demise of DCCI executive member-cum- president of Hazi Park (Hongkong Market) Business Welfare Committee, Hukato V Achumi, who passed away Wednesday in New Delhi.

DCCI in a press note said that Hukato was a pillar of strength and a tall leader not only amongst the traders and shopkeepers of Hazi Park to the business community of Dimapur as a whole. As an active executive member of DCCI, his role and commitment towards the welfare of the business community stands unparalleled. He was always at the forefront when it comes to negotiating and working for harmonious co-existence amongst all sections of society, it stated. 

“In his untimely demise, DCCI has lost a guiding light and mentor,” it added while extending condolences to the bereaved family members and also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
