Health Camp held at Diphupar Health & Wellness Center

Dimapur, December 13 (MExN): A health camp was organized at the newly inaugurated Diphupar-B Health & Wellness Center (H&WC) by staff under Diphupar-B H&WC, PHC Chümoukedima and the Mobile Medical Unit Team on December 9.

The medical team was led by Dr L Chem accompanied by Dr Narola, PHC Chümoukedima; Agunuo, CHO Diphupar-B and staff under PHC Chümoukedima , MMU Team and Diphupar-B staff, said a press release.

A total of 49 beneficiaries availed the services during the camp. Besides general OPD examinations, blood sugar and blood pressure were also checked as part of Non Communicable Diseases (NCD), ANC check-up of pregnant women and eye screening for cataract were conducted. 

The health camp was organized to make the community aware of the of the facilities available at the newly established Health and Wellness Centre and also to create awareness on NCD screening for 30+ years adults, importance of ANC and immunization.
