Transport, Civil Aviation & Railways Minister P Paiwang Konyak today assured the House that construction of Helipad at Vankhosung, Wokha will be completed by September this year.
Replying this to MLA Dr. Chumben Murry on the floor of the House, the minister said the total amount for the project was Rs. 225.24 lakhs out of which Rs. 190.40 lakhs have already been sanctioned upto date.
So far, 85% of the work has been completed, he informed.
Replying to MLA Yitachu, higher & technical education minister Temjen Imna Along said that the school education department has undertaken various sports activities such as football, volleyball, taekwondo, sepaktakraw and belt-wrestling.
He said that total fund allocation for encouraging activities in the schools during 2019-20 stands Rs. 203 lakhs under Samagra Shiksha.
