With the COVID-19 pandemic global spread resulting in shortages of essential precautionary items such as hand sanitizers and tissue papers, many people, including those in Nagaland are finding it difficult to get hold of those items.
The Regional Centre of Excellence for Music & Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma was no exception.
However, a friendly neighbour came to its rescue and gave a helping hand.
Kohima Science College (Autonomous), Jotsoma, the premier science college in Nagaland, has developed “hand sanitizers” in its laboratory and has ‘sanitized’ RCEMPA.
Sharing the news about ‘rescue’ on its official Facebook page, the Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), Nagaland posted:
“In a situation where all Hand Sanitizers have gone out of stock, Kohima Science College Jotsoma has come to the rescue by developing Hand Sanitizers in their Laboratory.”
“RCEMPA is blessed to have received the first bottle for immediate use,” it added.
TaFMA further expressed gratitude to KSC for the handy gesture.
