Dimapur, January 24 (MExN): In consonance with the Mopong Hong Kong Students’ Union (MHSU), the Hong Kong wound up its solidarity rides for justice January 24.
As per a press release, the riders traversed across the borders of Konyak soil with a message "We want justice and Repeal AFSPA" and alerted the people living in the border on its firm stance to fight for justice and removal of the Arm Force Special Power Act, 1958.
The riders started their journey on January 10 covering across the borders and have also visited the victims’ family members with the same solidarity messages, the release said.
Voicing their concerns, a memorandum was submitted to Konyak Union and a separate representation was handed to Governor through the Deputy Commissioner Mon for immediate deliverance of the justice and Repeal AFSPA, it added.
