A street play on consumer awareness related to illegal collection of multiple taxes (entry fees) at National Highway check gates was presented by students of Kohima Law College (KLC), Kohima on December 3 at Kisama Heritage Village. While with the intend to spread awareness on consumer awareness against the backdrop or rampant taxation, the students depicted ground realities on the practice of tax collection by police, excise, civil societies, municipal councils and the Naga National Political groups in the state. The street play is organized under the aegis of the Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA). The KLC students also assisted in distributing legal literature and booklets in Morungs at Kisama Village Heritage. (Photo Courtesy: NSLSA)
