Imna Along calls BJP workers to be ‘call-centric’ to serve people

Mokokchung, March 16 (MExN): Nagaland state BJP president, Temjen Imna Along Longkumer urged BJP workers in Mokokchung to be “call-centric” and work for the welfare of the people as the Bharatiya Janata Party in India is there to empower the “unempowered” people in the country.
According to a press release from Media Cell, BJP, Mokokchung District, Imna Along Longkumer, who is also the minister for Higher & Technical Education and Tribal Affairs stated that public welfare is the core of BJP’s agenda and therefore urged upon the BJP Mokokchung district leadership to have a vision and serve the people. He particularly urged upon the party workers and leaders to uphold and encourage each other so that the party can bring development to the grass root levels in the society.
He also mentioned about the different central schemes initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi like Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna which is aimed at benefitting the people in the villages and rural areas.
Sharing his dream of a different Nagaland that is beautiful, prosperous and empowered, Imna Along challenged the Mokokchung BJP leaders to be conscious leaders and serve the people resiliently. He said that a silent, steady and resilient worker is a strong worker.
He also praised the newly elected president of BJP Mokokchung district, Imolemba Jamir for his leadership in taking the party forward towards a higher position. Meanwhile, the BJP Mokokchung district president, Imolemba Jamir asserted that the BJP is a national party dedicated to the peace and development of the country. Jamir underscored the significance of all the morchas (different wings under the party) and at the same time urged the party president to give due importance to all the different organizational set up in the party. He further reposed hope on the leadership of the Nagaland state president, Imna Along and added that the BJP will become stronger.
